Personally I use HIEW from about ~10 years
this because it has assembly support, which is really handy both in read tasks (basically shellcode / classical asm code inspection)
and write tasks (main use: modify code -> jump to cave back to the code) :)

I don't really use Hex Editors too often but HxD is my favourite.

Hehe, is that a joke? Because there's almost always screenshots with Hview in whitepapers :D Hview makes it look very 31337 so that's maybe why?
