damagelab.org seems blocked by registar and unavailable.
damagelab.org is known to be one of the most popular sites for malware authors in the middle of 200x. SpyEye, Andromeda these guys were there. It was a code/ideas/data exchange site as well as usual market place. With time activities and content quality dropped (well like almost everywhere).
I don't know why someone decided to block this site NOW, in 2016. Especially when it activities greatly dropped. Basically it was somehow valuable site, if you are looking for old posts and data. And not only, for example it was introducing new malware kits, like H1N1 loader and providing preliminary research of them - with info available for everyone <- this is important, usually script-kiddie market places does everything but nothing technical.
Now some clever guy decided to finish it off. Well you deserve slowpoke award at least. If you think that shutdown of this site somehow helped in fight with cybercrime - you are absolutely wrong. You just managed to ruin not their bussiness or whatever - you just ruined job of everyone (not so many however) who were tracking it for antimalware purposes. Thanks. DM stuff will move somewhere else, on new market place, new site, etc. Will it be so open and enough friendly for everyone? Maybe yes and maybe no. So what was the fucking point?
Domain Status clientDeleteProhibited https://icann.org/epp#clientDeleteProhibitedI assume someone issued malware abuse. Whoever did this, well, it wasn't smart move.
