Hi, all. I just discovered this forum whilst searching for malware samples and this place seems awesome. I wanna test the waters a bit and see how friendly y'all are with this thread 
I recently became interested in viruses again when I started learning Python, and began writing some heuristic algorithms for malware detection. I had a black hat phase from 2010 to 2012 on Hack Forums.net, but that silliness faded away pretty quickly.
