can anyone give some links or guide the methodologhy of polymorphic mutation engine ?

now , my research proposal is about "identify mutation engine of polymorphic malware based on ALGORITHM"

but , at this time i got sample malware (polymorphic malware) in this website (very helpful !!!) , then the next step is to identify mutation engine as i mention above ?

anyone can help me ..
