Now every time you boot the computer, it will be in the same perfect state that you have defined for it!

This type of security product is not really secure when running from an admin account. Faronics (Deep Freeze producer) did not want even to recognize it when it was well proved their product was bypassed. A shame.

hi
Bitdisk and similar products (an old list here http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost ... tcount=147 ) are more classified as instant back up and recovery solutions than as VM or apllication virtualization.
A simple set system time change routine is a trivial way to disable them...and the bad faith of software vendor is not limited to Faronics ;)

Qnap has a Virtualization Station App (based on QEMU) https://www.qnap.com/event/station/en/v ... zation.php
and a Container Station App (LXC and docker) https://www.qnap.com/solution/container_station/en/

I recently got myself a Qnap TS453A and can connect over to the VM's running on the Qnap device with VNC, the container station allows me to run a GitLab server instance with PostSQL and Redis
