Run the program, go to Update tab and click 'Check for updates'. The program will automatically check whether you need to update your spyware database. If the updates are available, you will be offered to download and install them. ↪ Back to the top

In most cases, your problems are caused by the following reasons:
- No Internet connection. Please make sure your connection is up and working before you run LiveUpdate.
- Firewall / Proxy Server. You may need to temporarily disable your firewall or proxy server to perform Live Update. These could see the update function as a malicious process.
If it is possible, place SystemSecurity's executable 'SystemSecurity.exe' on your firewall or proxy server's 'Allowed Processes' list. This will enable you to run future Live Updates with your firewall or proxy server enabled. ↪ Back to the top
First, you need to check whether you have the latest spyware definitions installed. Then, please close all other programs before scanning. Run the scan and try to delete the infected objects. If deleting failed, reboot in Safe Mode (press and hold F8 while your PC is booting up, then select Safe Mode from the menu). After Windows loads, run the program, scan the system for spyware, and delete the infections. In case you still can't delete the infected objects, please contact our customer support department with detailed description of the situation and of the infected objects. If your copy is not registered, you can search for spyware but you are unable to remove the threats. Also, there should be the "Registration" button at the top of the mail window of the program. After registration that button will disappear. If there are only "Support" and "Update" buttons, then your program is already registered.
